You can find C.A.R.B compliant headers. A comp 260 will be a nice drop in cam for what your looking for and get a Trinity CRM tuned and turn off the MDS system. If you leave it on they tend to sound funky. I ran a cam, intake and tune for years and you will be surprised how much better it works...
If it was my truck buy a new timing chain set, 6.1 springs and rods. Cam wise you have been given some good info, its all in what you want your truck to be.

Congrads on the new times. Show the full slip on the 15.0x slip so we can see what time that was ran far as temps at the track cooled off or if the motor did some. Trap speeds were pretty consistant through out. If you knocked out all 15.2x passes back to back you would have a good bracket truck...
