Overhead console wiring harness with compass
just for reference, the wiring connections (if you don't want to do the entire harness thing) 1 & 2 are the + inputs (doesn't really matter which is which.. one is an always + input the other can be tapped from the dome light to auto switch on an dim the lights. use OEM AMP with 3rd party radio
hi!.. thanks for the quick response.. on low volumes it sounds more like the dash speakers are the only ones working.. so perhaps a capacitor might not be such a bad idea.. any idea on the type I should add? The previous owner put in a Herz amp (I'm suspecting the HCP 4DK by the connectors)...- RZomerman

Interior light stays on after premium cluster upgrade

backup cam - mirror display not working
Hi everyone, Which fuse is used to power the rearview mirror (display)? I tried to tap into the camera signal and put it into my 3rd party unit.. but made a mistake somewhere where I probably shorted the circuit for the mirror. Result is that the camera now works on the 3rd party radio...- RZomerman

Installing OEM backup cam
Hi everyone, I have a 2017 model with a backup camera display in the mirror but also have an after market radio that provides an auxiliary backup camera input.. would it be possible to split / connect the orginal camera signal (and activation) and connect it to my Sony XAV-AX8000?- RZomerman
