Forgot to update- I just cut and taped the horn lead after the central timer module. I’ve got no alarm horn of course, but the horn still functions through the steering wheel fine.
Thanks, I am replacing what’s in with stock quad lights as it had originally.
For the lights I just need to know which wires go where to the connectors, I have a wiring diagram but just looking at them fries my brain…
My 02 2500 Sport has aftermarket projector beam headlights installed by previous owner (with wiring cut and cobbled on high lead, adapters plugged in for low beam HID), and they are horrible (bluish color with poor output/visibility, and high halogen can’t be aimed).
I’ve installed replacement...
I found the 12v hot terminal toasted at the last connector before plug (C-129). Pulled it out and cut it clean and slid it into back of connector until I find a buddy with terminal tool or more patience than me to replace the terminal properly.
My 02 2500 w/factory security just started honking three times when I unlock it. Anyone have any clue how to reset or fix this? My neighbors aren’t fans at 3:30am…
I saw an old “three honk unlock” thread, but there was no follow up or resolution info from OP.
-a source to find an owners manual...
A dozen rows at junkyard and about a dozen trucks-nada. Only found one that didn’t have a flat bellhousing and of course it’s shield was gone.
Rechecked everything again and second to last vehicle in the place that was a Magnum V8 was a Durango SLT with the right cover!
Now if I hadn’t forgotten...
Pretty sure I’m missing something here, but I can’t find anything in service manual or parts diagrams.
What’s mopar call the inspection plate/flywheel cover, and is there a source to get one? 5.9V8 with 46RE
Thanks, but I’m in the opposite boat-
I read that thread, and that guys trying to understand why he’s not getting braking voltage, but his 12v constant is fine.
My braking circuit is fine and I’m not getting 12V constant.
Non-electrical hillbilly troubleshoot-plug trailer in, start truck, test probe on e-brake wire on trailer and push brake pedal. Don’t expect full 12v, as said, but you’ll know if voltage is headed to brakes’ electromagnets.
Anyone have a line on where to find a factory 5.9 Magnum air box bottom with intact tabs and the rubber that goes on stud?
Only used one I been able to source locally has all the tabs broken and every used one I can find online has broken tabs too.
I was thinking with all the CAI’s out there it...
My ‘02 2500 5.9 gasser has no power at the 12v line at hitch. I’ve got power at the trailer brake plug in cab, and both the 40A fuse and relay in PDC are good (new fuse and I’ve plugged the known working blower relay in the trailer relay slot to check).
I suck at wiring, but have checked that...
My 02 2500 5.9 V8 started throwing a “mini cat threshold” code today. It’s a California model, so there’s three cats.
If I do need to get a new cat, I’d prefer to just install a 49 state crossover pipe and cat and eliminate the 2 small cats on the CA head pipe.
Questions I have:
-can I...
