Trouble with headlights on 2004 ram 2500
I've had weird headlight issues before with my 04 2500. Try pulling your TIPM (fuse box under hood ) and reconnecting all the plugs. What is pump sound from dash when key is turned on?
My lift pump is in my fuel tank and I believe the high pressure pump on the side of the engine is driven off the engine not electrical.- Terry D Waters

The noise sounds like it's on the firewall behind the radio. It's always been there just not every time I go to start the truck. Now it runs even after a short period of engine off.- Terry D Waters

What is pump sound from dash when key is turned on?
On my 04 Cummins Ram there is a sound like a pump running for 5 seconds or so when key is first turned to run position before cranking. Whatever that is it is activating more often and for longer duration lately. Who knows what that is and what it's about to cost me?- Terry D Waters

rear spring replace
You can bolt on a set of air bags or add a helper spring, or you could just add more tension on your weight distributing hitch which will lift the rear of the truck a bit more.- Terry D Waters

3500 leaf springs on a 2500
I have an 04 2500 and the only difference between the 2500 and 3500 is an additional overload spring leaf on the 3500. I bought the springs and perches from the dealer and put them on my 2500.
