RP 5W20 HMX Test
I always use RP myself, just not the oil filters, this is the first go around with it since it's never been in stock here in town. I've ran HPS a few times before no issues, but always with Mopar filters...which always seem to crush. So this go around it gets HMX and RP filter- That_CAT_Guy

Got my hands on the RP HMX (high mileage) oil from Oriellys along with a RP 40-1009 filter. Filter is spiling microglass so definitely an improvement over the paper mopar filters I was using that seem to crush. I had footwell loghts, but I replaced all other lights with LEDs, and those were lurking my nerves. It's just like the trailer brake controller, I've got the wiring for it, just don't have the controller- That_CAT_Guy

2017 3.6 wants to run hot 226-230 before cooling down
I see you've edited your main post, those temps look normal to me, the 234 looks to be stop and go temps. If you're that worried about it look into taking some slats out of the AGS like I did. I only left my top amd bottom and the highest I've seen it in heavy stop amd go traffic is 205- That_CAT_Guy

Before I took some slats out of my AGS my 3.6 would get up to 226 before cooling down, as long as it's not going above that I wouldn't worry. These engines run hotter for emissions IIRC, only reason I took some slats out of the AGS is I take trips to the mountains and want that little bit of...- That_CAT_Guy
