I always use RP myself, just not the oil filters, this is the first go around with it since it's never been in stock here in town. I've ran HPS a few times before no issues, but always with Mopar filters...which always seem to crush. So this go around it gets HMX and RP filter
Got my hands on the RP HMX (high mileage) oil from Oriellys along with a RP 40-1009 filter. Filter is spiling microglass so definitely an improvement over the paper mopar filters I was using that seem to crush.

I see you've edited your main post, those temps look normal to me, the 234 looks to be stop and go temps. If you're that worried about it look into taking some slats out of the AGS like I did. I only left my top amd bottom and the highest I've seen it in heavy stop amd go traffic is 205
