What's happening when you bleed the brakes?
The proprtioning valve, and RWABS (if equiped) are known for jamming up once they get 30+ yo and the system is disturbed or re-bled.
I don't do brands.
I'd hit up my local spring shop to see what they can provide at a modest price. And I would do 2" of lift just so it would be as tall as a cummins truck, and never sag to a negative arch.
FWIW, the chevy guys tend to fairly protective of their 'rams horn' style exhaust manifolds because they flow decent compared to the log style.
Guess what? The dodge truck manifolds are basically a 'rams horn' style too.
How do you know its not 161k or 261k miles?
If it needs a flexplate, rear main seal, trans temp gauge probe, drain plug, or front trans seal.... I wait and do it all at the same time with oil and filter. Oil isnt cheap.
