    Dash gauges flicker

    99 Ram 1500 5.9L. truck cranks no start . Odometer and dash gauges blink/flicker once a second. No codes. Truck spits sputters so bad with accelerator to the floor. Fuses are good. What do I do now, what do I check next? Check a 5 volt reference from IAC?

    I've got the fog lights. They are hooked to the factory wiring. But I'd have to take pic to show what I'm talking about with the one under passenger side of the bumper. Good info on the ABS. I figured it would be for the front since they do more of the braking. I think maybe down the line...

    I've got the hood light but this connection is before the light. I understand the connector for the 4 wheel ABS since I have drum rears. The connector going from the passenger fender for the emissions system just ends. You would at least think manufacturer would put a cover on it to protect...

    I have 3 wiring connectors that just end. I see no place where they plug in. Maybe they are test connections? One is attached to hood next to under hood light, one is behind the ABS system, and one is on passenger fender coming from the fuel purge system.

    I have a bad wire that's too close to the terminal connector to repair. I was looking for the pin removal tool to remove the wire from the connector to do a better accessible​ repair. Anyone know what type/size of tool to buy?

    Ok so your saying to buy the correct connector and splice the dozen or so wires because of 1 bad wire? It's the large connector that's behind the driver's side fender by the frame.

    Cruise control switch lights Well that's good to know so I don't try taking them apart and bad that I finger fumble to set the cruise.

    Are there lights to light up the cruise control switches on the steering wheel? Kinda hard to see what button I'm pushing but just curious if they are supposed to light up.

    I changed the sensors and filter. I probably should've adjusted the bands too but didn't. The truck shifts in all gears but slips if I get on it. It's better than it was.

    Pieces from differential It crossed my mind, perhaps a bushing or shim for the pinion gear shaft?

    Pieces from differential There's no clutch packs in there plus these pieces are metal. They are machined halves.

    Pieces from differential I was thinking that at first as well but the diameter is small like a bushing, it's 3/4" diameter, 2 halves. I've looked in books and videos but I don't see anything that small. Anyone any idea.
