Engine oil and weight for 2023 5.7 Classic that won't void warranty. I've read many threads but don't have all day.
Shouldn't really make much of a differance,but the sump on the oil pan and pick-up tube is at the back of the engine,so on paper it's probably better to drive on,then back on- Wild one

Hadn't thought about the cops,lol
Our local mounties are still running the AWD Chargers,there's a couple that stop by our local meets and visit,and what really surprised me,is the fact they have 5.7 AWD's with the 8 speed,which supposedly was a car they never built. I even had the one young guy pop the hood,as i didn't believe...- Wild one

Sad Sign Of The Times
What worries me more about owning a V8 these days,will be getting parts down the road to keep it running,especially anything with Dodge / Chrysler or Ram wrote on it. The Italians don't seem to really care about keeping their customers happy- Wild one

I'm gonna call BS again,as what's this mean "The engine temps run 30° less and I can run it to 8,000 MI without it even turning different colors." Only way your coolant temps run at 190 is if you changed the thermostat little feller,lol. Another tidbit for you,the stock T-stat is 203 in your...- Wild one

Any engine can be flooded,it's just not as common on injected engines as it used to be when they used carbs.- Wild one

It's actually "clear" flood mode,pushing the skinny pedal to the floor while cranking the engine,shuts down the injectors,so you can start the engine if it has been flooded.Yes your truck has it.- Wild one

Read the note at the bottom.This used to be in the bigger 700 page manual,but they removed it a few years back. The engines are identical to when they said 5W-30 was okay to use.- Wild one

MDS and non-mds engines are identical in regards to the oiling system,the only differances being the mds solenoids are replaced with block off plugs,that allow full oil flow to the lifters all the time.The only non-mds engines available for the last several years are the vehicles equipped with...- Wild one

Man you still have alot to learn,if you think an oil will take 30 degrees out of the coolant temp.The only thing that'll take 30 degrees out of the coolant temp is a thermostat change. I don't think you should be doing any teaching with that line of BS,some of us weren't born yesterday ;) :Big...- Wild one

19 2500 6.4 issues
Odds are the truck was built before Covid hit,if it's a 19.Build date will be listed on the drivers side door jamb.Covid didn't really start affecting things until the 20 model years and newer- Wild one

Please please help grind and clunking
Block the front wheels,then jack the back tires off the ground,and pull the rear diff cover. Try rotating the rear tires by hand,while watching the carrier. It's not unheard of for the pinion/ring gear to loose teeth,but if i was to guess i'd wonder more about a broken spider gear- Wild one
