    8hp70 to 8hp95 swap?

My question wasn't leading so much to the capabilities of getting a more capable built 70 tranny, so much as trying to get away from using a 70 because of the nightmare of issues I am currently having now with the one that Blue came with. The upgraded power handling would just be a bonus at...

Transmission Woes (and haven't been on in a while)

@Jeepwalker I have sent them a message on their profile page. Waiting to hear back. Also, have an update for anyone else who is interested. I went to Repair B this past Wednesday to find out, basically, "what the hell is taking so long?" and found out what the hell is taking so long. Now...

Bubbling Dash and Discolored Steering Wheel

This sounds almost like what can happen if left in the sun. Do you park your truck so that the sun is baking on the dash and steering wheel a lot? Also, and this is an oddity due to the building design (2o Fenchurch St., London, England...

Help! What would you do next? Hemi misfire and low power

One potential problem with using conductive grease is be very careful you only get it where you want it to be. Clean up any excess because while unlikely if done properly, this could also cause a "connection" where one wasn't before, or not supposed to be if there is too much in the wrong spot(s).

Help! What would you do next? Hemi misfire and low power

Not disputing this information, sort of. The way it was explained to me (many moons ago), was that when you inserted the plug (bulb, whatever) in question, then the connections would push the dielectric grease to one side, and not stay in between the metal to metal contact, but get pushed...

Help! What would you do next? Hemi misfire and low power

I have been bouncing around all over this forum tonight, and I do not remember where specifically I saw it, but I remember a thread that had, as one of the symptoms, throwing misfire codes, and the thread was about issues with the MDS system (the one that shuts down half of the motor if it isn't...

Help! What would you do next? Hemi misfire and low power

Wild one, not sure if you are aware of this or not, but dielectric grease is designed for exactly that purpose, and putting in on the terminals before putting the leads on does not cause an issue. If it did, then electronics manufacturers wouldn't put it on the connectors they want to protect...

Looks like I'm never buying RAM again...

This topic HAS been discussed in many different ways on lots of different forums. You asked for peoples' thoughts on it, and they gave their thoughts. To be totally fair, if you're not going to like the answer(s), don't ask the question. However, on to what you might consider a more...

ABS Issue Update at NHTSA - Recall looks promising

You're right. I mean why should people expect to get vehicles they paid for to work properly? That's just silly talk right there. (hands out a mop in case people need to clean up the sarcasm that got all over the floor from this comment)

ABS Issue Update at NHTSA - Recall looks promising

Not this situation, but I dealt with one on my Chevy that by all rights *SHOULD* have been a recall item, but at best was just worthy of a "service bulletin", translation, "hey, this could happen". There were issues with the transmission on select range of manufacture date GM trucks with either...

    Headlight thoughts

Not recently either, but back in mid to late 90s, I was driving an Olds Cutlass, and had some of the "bright" white fog lights installed on my car, but I had put them behind the grill, down low, because I had different fog lights mounted in the "proper" spot before, below the bumper, on another...

    8hp70 to 8hp95 swap?

I have seen a lot of info, here and elsewhere on the net, about swapping up to an 8hp70 from an older style tranny, and even from a 70 to a 90, but I have not seen anything about someone swapping from a 70 to a 95. And yes, I did a search specifically for "8hp70 to 8hp95 swap" and the only...

2021 Classic Warlock differential whine in reverse(?)

In factory trim, according to the sites, 0-60 in ~6.5 seconds (345 HEMI 4x4)! Not bad for about 2.5 tons of truck!

2021 Classic Warlock differential whine in reverse(?)

First, welcome to the site. Second, welcome to the RAM family, once it happens, unless you already own a RAM. And third, welcome to the Warlock clan, again, once it happens. For the record, I call the grill look a Fu Ram Chu. To me, I think Ram went not quite far enough when blacking it out...
