Looking for input from anyone on when they replaced front struts. I have a 2016 1500, with 110,000 miles. I just do light-duty travel, and a smidge of light towing. I notice a bit more bounce when I hit a large chuckhole. I can’t move the truck at all when trying to manually bounce it like I could with a car and feel for excessive bounce.

If they are factory, they are likely due. Mine are absolutely shot, but I still don't really have any bounce just from pushing down on the bumper. The real issue is where the railroad crosses the highway and I hit that doing 60, and for about a second I'm just along for the ride as my tires have a seizure.

With that amount of miles it is time for replacement. For your use the Bilstein 5100's would work well. Message me if you would like a quote

My 2016 1500 hit 111,000mi and is currently in the shop getting bumper to bumper suspension swap. Out with the old in with the new. I would love the bilsten5100 but don’t drive it much anymore. I went with the monroe magnum strut and spring complete assembly. Will see how it rides after they swap everything out.

Struts/Shocks NEVER get any better as time/mileage goes on, so getting them replaced is the best and only option. 100k+ on ANY struts is a lot, just install new ones, your tires, your suspension components and your wallet will thank you later. ;)

175k mi on my 2012...they're still good! However there is one rear which is 'starting' to leak a little (not bouncy yet). I bought new Mopar shocks to put on, when they finall do go.

Our kid's 2003 Grand Cherokee has 240k and they're still good. Those are mono-tube's though which tend to last a lot longer.

I wouldn't replace them unless they NEED it. Is it bouncy?
