My 21 Rebel does this as an indication anti theft system is active.

I was kind of hopping it was a warning that the water level in the sno cone maker was low. ;-)

My 2014 Sport does that. From researching the issue, I believe it is related to the high beam sensor. In my case, I recently moved my Toll Tag sticker to the center of the windshield and inadvertently covered the sensor's view.

Kind of crazy I didn’t know I had auto high beams? What’s the function of this? Do they auto dim when oncoming traffic? Or do they auto aim somehow?

Because mine have NEVER dimmed on their own since I bought this rig new in 2013. And as far as aim goes, at least my low beams have always pissed people off they always think my high beams are on and try to bright me really make me learn my lesson you know?

You should be be able to tell, mine has it ,and I think if you push the signal stock ahead , it will say on the dash auto hi bean enabled , or something like that, and it will auto dim and return, when no light, mine has auto lights when dark as well. If you are in town with street lights , it don't work .
I don't have mine turned on when running around town, pull back on the lever turns auto off.
mine is 2014 sport with most options, it even has a back seat nagger in the nav. syste, when wife is not along . I don't need 2 at me.

PS , on my head light switch , the first spot is A , for auto head lights when it gets dark, so auto hi, low beam may be tied into that , don't know, your book should say.

Go to the settings and see if it's turned on. Should be under "lights" then check mark under Auto High Dim
