B&M Quicksilver shifter

1500 coil springs in a 2500?
Will coil springs from a 1500 2wd fit in a 2500 2wd? My 99 2500 with a 360 has a broken coil and I can get springs from a 1500. Will they fit, will it be too soft, will it lower it? Thanks if anyone has heard of doing this.
