99 Ram 1500 5.9L. truck cranks no start . Odometer and dash gauges blink/flicker once a second. No codes. Truck spits sputters so bad with accelerator to the floor. Fuses are good. What do I do now, what do I check next? Check a 5 volt reference from IAC?
I have 3 wiring connectors that just end. I see no place where they plug in. Maybe they are test connections? One is attached to hood next to under hood light, one is behind the ABS system, and one is on passenger fender coming from the fuel purge system.
I have a bad wire that's too close to the terminal connector to repair. I was looking for the pin removal tool to remove the wire from the connector to do a better accessible repair. Anyone know what type/size of tool to buy?
I have a bad wire that's too close to a multiwire connector. I have looked on eBay for a pin removal tool to better repair the wire. Which pin connector removal tool do I need?
Are there lights to light up the cruise control switches on the steering wheel? Kinda hard to see what button I'm pushing but just curious if they are supposed to light up.
I changed the gear lube on my 01 1500 12 bolt differential and I found a couple of big pieces along with many smaller chunks/shavings. Looking inside it seems all there but......What could these be?
I have a black box under the steering column, no brand name on it. I have a key fob with a ram emblem on it. Does anybody know if it's factory installed? The wire splices do not look factory. Is it possible to remove this without causing some type of issues? Thank you.
High rpms to shift from 1st to 2nd but trans doesn't shift from 2nd into higher gears. I've seen that high RPM shifts from 1st gear usually is the governor pressure sensor repair kit. It has aux cooler. Any ideas. New Ram owner.
I was looking at the steering column and I see a feature for the shifter. There's a wire with an adjustment knob attached to the column. Is this for the transmission? What's it do. Thank you. New Ram owner.
