Crooked steering wheel

2002 1500 quad cab 4x4 4.7 automatic. Can this truck be driven without the cv axles? I would also take out the front drive shaft. This is why I am asking. This is the passenger intermediate shaft, it connects to the cv axle. As you can see it the shaft rides on the bottom of the housing. I...- Wewaman
