Hello. I’ve got a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 v10. I was on the way home from a delivery and my truck died. No fuel pressure so I swapped fuel pump relay and horn, nothing. No phone signal unfortunately so I flagged down a buddy and he gave me a ride home. Store nearby had a pump so in through it in and...
I have a 2001 ram 2500 v10 and wanted to get rid of the smog pump. It doesn’t appear there are any aftermarket pulleys available and was wondering if anyone has flipped the tensioner and ran a shorter belt.
I bought my 01 2500 used and it has a 6 pin plug wired in. I put a brake controller in and switched to a 7. If I remember right all the wiring colors were correct, but I double checked everything before hooking it up anyway.
I bought mine about a year I a half ago. 2001 4x4 v10 47re. Has 93k miles on it, 109k now. I really like it, gas mileage for me is steadily 10-11mpg. Figure at some point I’ll have some issue with the trans and cad, none yet though.
I was pulling a truck out of the mud yesterday. Afterwords by abs/brake light was on. I don’t have a scanner that tests abs. I went and did a quick check for connectors and everything looked fine except for the front driver wheel. The wire was out of the holder, but didn’t look like it had been...
I can’t figure out how to make a new thread. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram v10 and I’m replacing the water pump. I can’t get the little threaded metal pipe off the old water pump. Any tips?
Just replaced the starter on my 01 v10. Probably didn’t need to, I think I just needed to replace the battery. I had to job to get to though and didn’t want to mess around so just replaced both.
I’m from the nw. A friend of mine sold his non running, rusted, lived its entire living driving the beach gen 1 for $4k and it was posted for less than a day.
Hello.
I was driving home and had my windshield wipers on high and they stopped all the way on top. It sounds like the motor is still trying to do something, but they are stuck there. When I stopped I was able to push them down a few inches and they reset to the down position. When I turn...
If you wanted to do a kill switch I’d just run it off your ignition wire to starter relay. It’s very open in the engine compartment, easy to run wiring wherever you want it.
I was going to go back to stock size because I use it for work and I list my odometer readings. Didn’t want them being about 15% off. After doing some testing computer has already been set for these size.
I was looking on offer up, Craigslist, Facebook marketplace when I was looking for a truck. Found a lot of really nice half ton 4x4’s for under $4k. Tricky part for me was finding a 2500.
