    Hadn't thought about the cops,lol

We changed to all Tahoes and Durangos at TXDPS. Our director basically said that our safety is more important that the ability to go fast. In addition to that, we haven't had an F-wreck involving a trooper parked on the side of the road on a stop. It happened a few times with the Crown Vics and...

    motor blew valve

https://www.powertrainproducts.net/Dodge-360-5-9-V8-Engine-93-2001-Models-p/1261.htm I installed one of their 5.7 engines in my 2006 Charger in November 2022. It has 25k on it, and runs like a champ. YMMV.

    Rambox stuck

Great job and write-up! I had to solve the same problem with mine last year. I haven't replaced the clips yet.

The converter pump can rotate in both directions. You didn't mess anything up.

Need help putting transmission back in

Alignment tool is MANDATORY! Edit: Just recalled a memory from 1985 when I worked at a parts house and we had a rack of blister pack plastic alignment tools for just about every domestic trans. Guys would try to return them after use, "It didn't fit." Yeah... good times...

$70k Truck Falling Apart at 38k Miles

Wow... still have my first purchased new Dodge, '96 4WD 360. My second purchased new Dodge, a 2006 Charger R/T. My third Dodge a used 2017 2500 6.7, and the last purchased new Dodge, a 2022 Chally. The only one I owe on is the '22, but it's zero %, so... Guess I'm one of the lucky ones? They've...

    2500 4WD Steering Issue

No. The more I drove the truck the less I seemed to notice it. I attributed it to a power steering system that simply didn't work like I expected it to, but all it took was getting used to it. I don't notice it anymore.

    Engine stand

Looks to me like you need to remove the flywheel and converter. 6" bolts aren't the solution.

The Last of our Laramies (4x4 Hemis '24) for $15k-$17k off MSRP

Not bad. Adjusted for inflation, that's about the same price I paid new for my 1996 Laramie SLT 4WD with the 360 out the door. Of course, mine ain't nearly as luxurious and has cloth bench, an AM/FM single CD, cruise control and alloy wheels. LOL!

    RAM Customer Care Nightmare

That's a well written 'hook, line and sinker' story if I ever heard one. Surprised there's no mention of a sick grandma or puppy.

    Should i paint these?

I'd get them powdercoated. You can clean them all you want, but without a coating, the bare aluminum will look dingy all the time. You'll probably need to machine a groove on the inside to hold the center cap on place. 74mm is pretty common...

    First time oil change

https://www.amazon.com/DEF-57180-Filter-Cummins-2013-2018/dp/B07GF7Y5F8?ref_=ast_sto_dp Pretty handy... Also, a 5 gallon bucket fits under my oil pan without jacking the truck up.

Would like a higher PSI for my engine oil, options?

Exactly. Raising the oil pressure is as easy as increasing the oil viscosity, but you risk low volume and starving components.

    Brake fluid flush cost

Just my .02, my 1996 1500 I bought new has over 200k, and I've never flushed the brake fluid. Stops on a 50 cent piece.
