Just bought new tires for mine. The old tires had similar wear as yours not as bad. I’m watching the new tires to see how they wear, and so far I’m not seeing the same wear. 5000 miles on them and will rotate them in a day or two. I suspected alignment but not seeing the proof in this set yet.
The thermostat maintains the coolest the truck will run. Ambient temperature, the load on the engine, and condition of the complete cooling system will dictate how hot the engine runs.
I don’t have e-torque or air suspension so I’m going with e-brake too. Don’t really like e-brake coming on on its own because I’ve had brakes freeze in cold weather. Just rented a u-haul that seemed to do the same thing. If I didn’t set the brake it sounded like it set the brake for me?
Found this on the internet. It’s talking about a BMW, and it sounds like that tool is specifically for a BMW? But it does give a procedure to make it happen.

I had the same exact experience. Took a long breaker bar and tapped rather hard on the side of your starter. If it cranks you’ve narrowed it down the the starter solenoid. You can easily access the starter from the drivers side wheel well.
HUGE WORD OF CAUTION. The battery cable is right down...
So being just plain ole mean sometimes, had a bit of fun with a navy buddy once. He came from New York City and I guess he just never needed a car. Finally bought and got his license when he turned 23. Told him to be sure and change the air in his tires every ten thousand miles, or they would...
Saw the neatest thing a day or so ago. Kinda takes the guesswork out of the equation.

Initial start does a self test on all the lights in the cluster just to let you know the bulbs are good. That’s why you are seeing the 4wd at start up. Your bcm doesn’t recognize the cluster. Flash time.
Looks like a Teflon insulator. On my Jeep forum some folks don’t replace them when they lose one or replace springs. Probably for reducing metal to metal contact and wear. Could be your noise. Spray a liberal amount of silicon lube in there and see if your noise goes away.
If the Ram world is anything like the Jeep world… the letter at the end is just an up grade of some kind to make the part a bit better. Just guessing but I’d say it’ll work just fine.
On my Jeep when there is too much air in the tires I can feel the lugs on the tires as it rolls. Sometimes I can tell if a quarter is heads up or tails up. It also varies when the hot summer weather increases the tire pressure.
I bought the fluids from the dealership and changed my own. Can’t remember for sure but I’m thinking just the fluids were $100. Took all of an hour to drain and refill. Probably could have gotten out cheaper but the Ram was new to me and I wanted to be sure of the correct fluids. Took an hour...
One would think that, but when I start mine the drl’s are on. All the vehicles I’ve had as you say drl’s come on when in gear and when the e-break is on they go off. Not my Ram. Engine running drl’s are on.
Look in the drivers side front wheel well. Take a long heavy metal rod such as a breaker bar and rap on the starter solenoid making sure not to hit the battery cable. I just replaced my starter with the exact same symptoms. Rapping on the starter solenoid will at least get you going till you can...
I don’t care for them but, depending on your height they help a bit if the sun is coming in and blinding you as you’re driving north or south. Between the bright sun and the broken tree lines you get a blinking sun poking you in the eyes.
Of course that all depends on time of day and how tall...
