Anyone done a 5x5 bolt pattern conversion on a 3rd gen 1500, need more wheel choices
Has anyone done a 5x5 / 5x127 wheel bolt pattern conversion on their 3rd gen 1500 Ram? There's so many more wheel choices for what I'm interested in for 5x5 bolt patterns versus my 5x5.5 bolt pattern.- g-nut

Anyone know why lowering spindles widen your track width?
I've been looking at possibly buying a set of lowering spindles for my 2004 Ram 1500 quad cab 2wd 4.7L. Every one I've looked at state that they will widen your track width by 1/2". Anyone know why? Thanks. -

Lowering springs question
I lowered the front 4" with coils and control arms. The rear 6" with a Street Edge flip kit and shackles. Also changed the swaybar end links to shorter units (a Ford part)(K80337) Rides as well as it did before. I replaced the 1 yr old Gabriel shocks with the entry level BellTech units. No... -

Has anyone used Mercon transmission fluid in their 545RFE automatic transmission? I have a 2004 Ram 1500 4.7L 2wd with this transmission. I'm planning to change the fluid and filter. I already have 2 new 5qt. jugs of Mercon LV trans fluid sitting around. I'd bought for something else that I...- g-nut

Just saw this. Didn't get an email notification. I've replaced the EGR valve. Recently I replaced the timing chains and tensioners. While doing so I replaced the intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, throttle body gasket, new plugs, new coils. Lots of maintenance to it. Basically replaced...- g-nut
