These badges are emblems and badges are from my '16 Big Horn. They should work with just about all '09 through '24 Ram Classic models. I'm selling all of these as a package. Buyer pays shipping which should not be much as the whole box full of them is lite and small. $50 gets everything.
The 4th gen has a presence that the 5th gen will never match. It looks good from any angle and will never be mistaken for another brand. Ram threw away 25 years of brand identity with the 5th gen when they ditched the aggressive look and the crosshair grill.
I hope the mid cycle refresh of the...
I had a '14 Ram Big Horn Crew Cab with the 3.6, 3.55 rear for almost 2 years before I got rid of it via Pa Lemon Law. I did a lot of the same roads you took a few times on my way to Myrtle Beach. In the mountains of WV, VA, and NC on I77 i got around 19mpg. The bed was fully loaded plus 2 bikes...
I had a '14 Ram with the 3.6. The shifting in that truck was smooth in city driving. On the highway and going up hills at higher speeds it was very noticeable every time it shifted. Going up hills at 70+ that thing was turning 3 - 4 k rpms. Best I ever got was 23mpg on the flat interstates of...
I have had at least 10 fall off in 5 years. These caps are cheap plastic except the replacements aren't cheap to buy at the dealer. I bought some knock offs on eBay and they actually seem to be a better quality and much cheaper.
The front of the DT has to many pieces and odd shapes. It needs to be simplified in design and the number of parts. Shouldn't have to remove fender flares to take out a grill.
In this day of computerized design, that grill must have been designed by someone who just smoked some good weed.
The Knob is very mindless to use. I don't have to look at it to go from P to D and P. Only need to look for reverse. I wish my Charger had the Knob too.
I have been saying pretty much the same thing for the last 3+ years. The new body style has not grown on me at all. The front end needs a total restyle.
My ideal truck would be the Classic exterior with the new interior, similar to what they did with the HD trucks, except forget the brow styled...
The Knob is just fine. The only time you really need to look at is when shifting into reverse. It frees up storage space that the new shifter will take. The floor shifter doesn't handle all of the up and downshifts if you want something other than D. It gets a paddle shifter, the Knob has...
I sure hope it is getting a more aggressive look. Right now the front is so bland and generic except for the Rebel and TRX.
After 3 years of looking at the front of the new model it still has not grown on me, especially the models with the chrome front ends.
The front end of the 5th gen Rams needs a refresh. There are too many pieces to it. You have the brow over the grill, and all of that space below the headlights. The only 5th gen grill I actually like is the Rebel.
I agree none of them look good in chrome. If a design only looks good painted and...
My feelings too. Rebel and TRX. The front ends of the rest of the models are very bland and generic. Get rid of the brow, the hood badges, and drop the headlights lower. Make the crosshair optional on Sport Models.
If you wanted to swap out the grill or shell on the 4th gen it was an easy job ...
The Rebel and TRX are the best looking models on the new body style. The rest of them look very plain and generic.
Ram needs to go back to more aggressive styling .
How did you disable the remote start? I don't recall there being in the 8.4 menu options for that. I have started mine accidentally so many times it is scary, especially when it starts in a closed garage in my house.
There should be an option to raise the number of times you have to hit the fob...
I agree with you on the Rebel 5th gen and the 4th gen Sport. The rest of the 5th gen Rams are a very generic plain design that doesn't stand out at all. Sure hope the front end gets restyled soon soon.
After over 2 years of looking at the new Rams, I still have not warmed to the style of the front end of the truck forward of the windshield. It needs to be redone asap to a more aggressive look. Right now it is just a very bland design except for the Rebel.
When I had my '95 Ram and the new...
Replace the boards with a fixed style. No more motor problems and much cheaper than the 1200 for the motor that may fail again.
The motorized boards and the air suspension are 2 things I would never want.
