    I used the open space in the console and installed a Spod switch panel. Newer versions of the Spod, along with other brands offer smaller electronic switch controllers which would take up less space.

    Saw that on the news last night as well, along with a map of where the smoke is now. It seems like a lot of fires in Canada already. Being in Northern Idaho, we had a lot of smoke from BC last year. Being dry I think we might be in for another smokey season..

    Welcome, and you just can't beat the looks of a short bed regular cab. I think a nice set of wheels and tires will really spruce up that truck, and maybe get rid of those running boards.. I have no doubt many here will find a way to spend your money on upgrades. ;)

    LED Mirror Lights

    That has to be frustrating, especially coming form a company like Morimoto. I did get a set for my 2013 last summer and so far they have been just fine. I sure hope it works out for you.

    Puddle light connectors

    Instead of replacing, have you tried any of the "tricks" to remove the corrosion ? It can be a pain, and the smaller the connector, the harder it is. Here is one example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bn_sxWhsFLw Good luck, and you will love the new sequential signal lights.

    Wadestar mirror upper or lower location ???

    I think that is all preference. I know when I got mine I put some double sided tape over the back of the protective "sticky" and placed them on the mirrors temporary in both locations to see what I liked the best. I ended up going with the "upper". They will good in either placement.

    Everthing works but fog lights

    On my 2013 the round headlight knob controls the fog lights by pushing the whole knob in. The headlight switch as to be in parking or headlights mode in order for the fog lights to come on when the dial is pushed in.

    I'm for the color matched one as well. The new style black grille looks out of place on that truck. Nice looking truck and looks so "clean" with honey combed matched.

    If you go with a trailer hitch recovery point, I believe a hitch receiver with a shackle would be stronger than the trailer hitch tow loop.

    I replaced my original bumper on my 95 2500 with a Ranchhand, and it bolted right in place. No modifications what so ever.

    I changed mine out a few years ago. I had used the 2nd method listed by GT yankee, and it wasn't all that hard to do. Sure made a world of difference. I'm sure if you could find a console from a salvage yard as mention by ZacMan would also be the way to go.

    I have the Morimoto ones in my 2013 1500 and they work fine, plug & play. The ones I have do say 09-18 models. I'm not sure if they have them to fit the 5th gens.

    Tow Hooka in 2014 Ram 1500 Sport

    Just do a search here on tow hooks. You will find lots of information from installs to pictures. I installed them on my 2013 Sport.
