Our New Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

Our new GC has slightly more storage space than her 2018 GC Trailhawk did... FWIW- my bro-in law bought the L just before we got ours. They get 20mpg but wanted the 3rd row.

Our New Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

22 miles 1 way. A 2 mile climb out of the valley I live in, followed by 18 miles of rolling rural highway, then 2 miles of back streets to the plant. I usually pull in with 5 miles left on the battery indicator which gets me back out of town and on the way home before it's gone and it switches...

    6.4l terrible mpg

MDS is a funny thing. I used to disable it in my 5.7 1500 Laramie because it was so intrusive in noise and vibration... But I've never bothered in my PW. Even with my glass packed single exhaust I can never notice when it's active...

Our New Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

I've been driving my wife's 4XE to work for a year and a half since her early retirement... I like that the combined HP and torque makes it move out pretty quick for such a heavy SUV... Plus-I can drive to work all week long for the same fuel that my PW uses in a single day...

Tires make all the difference in the world!

Improvements? I really can't say cause I only had the Duratracs for a few miles. I wanted to go up to 35" tires and the local shop said they've been having good success with the Klevers even on farm trucks that see a ton of gravel roads. I can say they have been surprisingly good tires for...

    Brand new RAM RHO

Nice, but I'm glad my PW is paid for... It's likely the last truck I'll ever own...

Tires make all the difference in the world!

Yep... I picked up my PW brand new, drove to the tire shop across town and swapped the OEM Duratracs for a set of 35" 10 ply Klever RTs. ( and sold the Duras for almost what I had into the new ones...) They've been exceptional tires so far...

    bumpy ride 2500 powerwagon

Iowa roads are far worse than Wisconsin's but I think my Power Wagon rides surprisingly nice for a 3/4 ton. Better than my cousin's new 1500 Trailboss for sure... And I'm running 35" 10plys around 60psi... Your PW is old enough than new shocks might be a good investment...

Driving habits reported to your insurance company?

I shudder to think what my insurance premiums would be if they knew my actual driving habits. My PW probably wouldn't bother them too bad, but my motorcycle premiums would be sky high...

2024 DODGE RAM 2500 OBSTACLE COURSE TEST DRIVE N.A.I. Detroit Auto Show

Thanks for the post! We are a Jeep/Ram family here... FWIW-I really liked the 3.6 Pentastar that was in my Wrangler (and my wife's Grand Cherokee Trailhawk) Easy to maintain and had decent power...
