Mine was replaced under warranty no questions ask. Dealerships know it’s a problem especially with 2018’s. If no warranty then it’s a crap shoot to get dealers to replace as so many have experienced
The dealer wannabe mechanics are really good at over filling tire pressure and leaving off stem caps, also good at over filling oil when doing oil changes. Speaking from experience .
What is considered extended idle time- ten minutes, 1 hour , 10 hours ? If I’m sitting in traffic or in line at fast food I rev the idle up periodically hope that helps with the idle problems I hear about ♂️

i would be talking to the tire shop about replacing what they scratched. I have learned to take pictures of my wheels before having new tires put on and also showing the salesperson how nice my wheels are with no scratches.
