    DPF issue

Believe me I struggled with the same concerns. But I was sick of the problems and the dealer and Chrysler unable to successfully fix them. I reached my limit last October while waiting on a back ordered sensor; my truck had spent weeks sitting on the dealer lot. So I ordered a kit and did the...

    Bad Body Mounts?

I have a 2019 3500 dually and I have the same symptom. It’s only when the front suspension drops hard, suddenly. I hadn’t noticed the cab body mounts, but I will look when I get a chance. I wonder if an aftermarket replacement would be better?? Hopefully someone in the forum has more information.

    2019 3500 6.7 won't start after fuel filters changed.

Resolved. I didn’t fully seat the filter. Thanks for asking.

Post VB6 emission PCM upgrade recall post performance

I have a 2019 3500 6.7 and that flash was done. I didn’t notice much difference, but some time after that the truck began active regeneration frequently. The dealer replaced a bunch of sensors, changed the high pressure fuel pump and never could get it straightened out. It just ran awful. So I...

Aftermarket fuel systems for 5th gen 6.7

Anyone installed an a/m fuel system like Fass or other on your 5th gen? I hate this design! Especially the rear filter. Would love to hear from someone who converted and how you like it. My ride is a 2019 3500 6.7 w 68rfe, recently Jenny Craiged.

No frame mounted fuel filter on 2021 2500

Yes the water filter is above the drive shaft and beside the tank. The other filter is near the intake on the left side of the engine. There are YouTube videos available.

    Looking at buying a 3500 opinions/experiences please!

See if the recall for the cp4 high pressure pump has been done. I have 2019 3500 with 46k miles and have had issues with the dpf and frequently regenerating. I finally deleted it, tired of the dealer and Chrysler.

What did you do with your 5th Gen this week?

Hard wired my dash cam. Last week she finished her Jenny Craig program and lost 200lbs!

    2019 3500 6.7 won't start after fuel filters changed.

My 19 3500 6.7 with 46k miles. I've changed the fuel filters before and no issue. I cycled the system on and off a few times. Won't start. Repeated several times. Put a charger on to make sure the batteries didn't drop too low. Checked to see if fuel is reaching the front filter, it is. After...

Regen Regen Regen, Excessive Regen. Need help

Sneakocom, I’m in Texas, alititude less than a thousand feet so that’s probably not a contributing factor. I’m calling the shop foreman every day to keep pressure but I’m ready to escalate. I’m just not sure who to call.

Good luck. My 2019 3500 with 46k miles is now in the dealer service department for the third time with error code p-2459 frequent regeneration”.

Regen Regen Regen, Excessive Regen. Need help

So my 2019 3500 6.7 was having the frequent regen issues before getting the cp4 replaced with the cp3. It’s in the dealer service department now with the same issue. Service manager said he will get with the Chrysler engineers to see what they recommend. Don’t know about you but I’m sick of this.

Things that make you go hmmmm!!!

My 2019 also has 46k miles and is in dealer service now for frequent regeneration issues. They had already replaced the cp4 pump with the cp3 in effort to fix this problem but clearly didn’t. They are calling Chrysler for guidance. This is my third time in with this issue. Btw, the increased...

Recalls, lack of parts, and damage to the value of our vehicles

I think many of us are frustrated as you with the overall service both from the dealership and OE. My 19 3500 was at the dealer for nearly three weeks with issues related to the ‘after treatment system’. In the process they managed to find a CP3 high pressure pump and installed it along with a...

    New Diesels

My 3500 is in the server department now with regen issues, and we had that discussion. Apparently what’s not good is short trips around town as well as excessive idle time. The “post treatment” system needs highway time to effectively regenerate the DPF. Some idle time is unavoidable, obviously.

Can we please get past the dealership model?

But unfortunately the system also fails at the service department in many cases.

Auto Regeneration when DPF is near zero ???

Looking at my receipts I see the dealer installed a 68517554AA at last service. It’s 2019. So I’m wondering how you came by this information. Can you advise? Note, my truck is in the shop now for regeneration issues…
