Does anyone know what this plug is for? I have a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Eco. Trying to track down this water leak that I'm sure no one else has heard of and I found this thing just dangling. Appreciate the help.
Hope someone has a solution because I've had this same issue for over a year. Altjough i have the 65rfe. Don't really drive the truck too often so haven't really bothered to take it in. Called a few shops and they immediately said replacement was necessary but I ain't buying that. The truck...
I've changed out two gauges and neither were in the condition you are referencing. Not saying its bad but may be a gamble. IMO find another one of your can. Good luck.
All good suggestions above. Also make sure the terminals are tight. Sounds silly but sometimes if they are not pushed down to the base of the terminals then they wont fully tighten and become loose. Happened to me with my negative terminal is how I know. Shop said I needed a new battery but...
Chris fix on youtube had a pretty simple method of checking for exhaust leaks. A weak leaf blower and a spray bottle of soap water. Its helped me especially after adding an exhaust cutout. Good luck
Could be wrong but 99% sure the DT lights wont fit DS. Now you could fit the lights from a newer 2500 on your DS. There are a few threads here on how this is completed. Good luck
I am the last person to provide trans advise trust me. I would post your CVI's for these pros to look at and maybe they can see something. Did you perform a relearn? I dont think its necessary if all you did was fluid change but you never know. Also which trans do you have? Any other mods we...
Would you happen to have a shot of the entire side of your truck? I bought these flares awhile back and possibly getting them color matched and you are the first person I seen with this style. Appreciate it
If you dont mind me asking a question off topic from OP, those with the camera in the mirror where is your microphone for bluetooth? I believe mine is on my mirror but those with rear view camera dont seem to have one. Appreciate the help.
I basically did they same thing in my 65rfe minus the trans cooler. Did you have any issues adding the correct amount of fluid? According to the dip stick youre suppose to get the trans up to 170 and then check in N. Problem is my trans doesn't get that hot. The highest in can get the damn...
So I've had the smell of coolant in my pay now for a few months. Like you my levels seemed fine but come to find out my water pump was spraying just a tiny amount of coolant every now and then. Replaced that thing this weekend and the smell has subsided. See if your water pump has any play in...
May look into alpha obd. There are a series of test it can perform on these trans. This could possibly narrow down your problem(s). Plus its just a good thing to have in general on out Rams.
