I'm late to the party. I have a 2019 Ram Classic with the 5.7 Hemi, (which I bought brand-new in August of 2019) and apparently it's now 'my time' for the exhaust manifold bolts, or manifold itself. I JUST turned over 61,000 miles. I have the trailer-tow package for a 4000 lb. Winnebago Micro Mini RV, and just got back from Boston with it when I noticed the noise. (It's had trips to Florida and the west side of Michigan's Upper Peninsula as well.) I live in Michigan, and keep it garaged. I actually seldom drive it other than on our RV trips. (Almost five full years old; only 61,000 miles on it.) In the various threads on this, the 'noise' doesn't seem to be more than a nuisance, but I'd like to make it right. Looks like the dealerships' 'fixes' are just band-aids, right? New bolts/gaskets and go on your merry way until they break again? I'm in the Grand Rapids, MI area; would be nice to find a shop that might mill the warped ones and make them last. Ideas/suggestions on a course of action? Thanks!
