The listing claims this fluid "drops temperatures 10-30 degrees." And "that for every 18 degree drop in temperature, the oil and seal life doubles." Sounds good yet the cluster shows my transmission in my nearly new 3500 almost always at 163 degrees. Even in 110 F degree weather, at highway speeds. I'm not sure when the Aisin is due for new filter and fluid, so I was just curious. Anyone here use this product?

Schaeffer's makes good stuff. The Aisin runs cool anyway and with 30K change intervals why spend more when you can buy Mobil 3309 for six bucks a quart(was five)?

The trans is thermostatically controlled to run around 160s. Personally I bought a case of Mobil 3309 from Amazon and did the 7 quart dump and refill at 30k. At 60k miles I will drop the pan and include filter change in that service.
Schaefer has a following of being good oils but the added cost isn't beneficial to me in a great heavy duty trans that is fine on stock fluids. The timely change intervals and monitoring the temp is most important and it sounds like you'll be doing that.
