I had my passanger fender flare hit. It scratched the paint off and scratched the plastic under. Then the force of it put a cut into my actuall fender. I cought who did it this afternoon and thanks to being in the army and the person being in my unit command makes sure these things are taken care of. She writes me a check tomorrow for $350 for the repairs. I could of ***** her for $1250 but I went through the body shop that painted my fender flares and also painted the 2 extra clear coats on my truck. I was worried that if the price was to much insurance would be involved and I would not make any money out of the deal. I am making a few bucks this way. That young female LT is a sure a big piece of crap because the only way she owned up to it was when a senor NCO dimed her out and dragged her to me.

It's sad that she hit you and tried to get away with it, but I'm happy for you that you're getting money out of her to cover the damages. All too often it doesn't happen like that.

I generally expect military personnell to be of a higher moral code than most civilians (same for cops)... I guess that isn't important anymore... Gomer Pyle would be rolling over in his grave right now! She should be in some kind of trouble for covering it up, and then lying about it once she was busted.
