I bought the truck in 2022. It's a 2014 ram 5.7l. I drove it to texas and noticed a stupid chirp noise. Which I found out was a stuck lifter. Fast forward to a month ago and I pulled onto the road and when I parked I heard this. I just did an oil change about 500 miles before it went.
I know it's a rod just from Google etc. But I'm curious if anyone ever had a bad rod but there isn't metal in my oil. At all.
