this is just a time line to view Ruby's progress from when I got her til now...

the day I brought her home:

the day I pulled those hideous running boards off:

the day I demolded her:

then, I added a little color to her front:

engine bay cleaned up:

Next up I am doing exhaust, then we'll see how my finances align to do more dress up on the engine...

Very nice! And I see this as being a very "show-able" rig! Yes..I just made a word.

thanks Dan...she needs paint pretty bad...the storms we got here in Florida last week really tore into Ruby's clear coat pretty bad...to the point where I actually had water filled clear coat blisters in my clear on the hood...she also has the typical second gen paint fade on her roof...

But, I am in talks with a vinyl wrap dealer about wrapping her in vinyl...

A good quality full wrap, is not much cheaper than a paint job.

Well, he said he can do it for $800 installed if I go with basic colors...which is alot less then what I am gonna pay for paint here...unless I go with a single stage MAACO paint job...and I dont wanna do that....if I go with paint it is gonna have to be a BC/CC or nothing...which even for MAACO would run double what the wrap would cost...
