Guys, I am going to post this one more time. I am in Need of rockers and cab corners for my 2009 1500. Can anyone think of any aftermarket parts manufactures that I might not have tried. I already called lmc Truck and they don't make them yet, and I have even tried a few local junk yards and either tehy have something or tell you they will call you back and never do.

maybe i'm missing some companies. looking for input. i can get them from a mopar site but its the entire uniside i really don't need the entire thing

and for the record here is what my driver side cab corner looks like.

Have your considered a local body shop?

May be able to cut the "infected" portion out and replace.

That's what I am planning on doing. But I can't seem to find replacement cab corners. Hence this post asking if I might have missed someplace

Called
Lmc truck
Rock auto doesn't have a listing
Raybuck no listing
My usual places look at me like I'm crazy

I was more saying have the body shop find the parts for you.

Depending on the outcome, it might be easier to go that route vice hunting down the parts yourself.

Rock Auto was going to be my input, but you've already tried them it looks like. Another option would be Mopar directly, but that's going to be more expensive.

Well I ended up going to the dealer and got both unisides for 218 each and the cutting and replacement as started. Btw I needed to do the entire rocker and both cab corners right and left

And that I had to do the entire rocker and cab corners. It will not happen again. Plugging the holes for drainage and having it line ex ed or if your familiar with raptor is the material I'm using.. It's bedliner material that can be tinted and color matched to body color to help hide it

No foam. Only foam is in the middle b pillar. It will be sealed off and since I don't off road my truck and don't go driving through streams I can get away with sealing off the rockers

So do you live somewhere that they use lots of salt on the road, not wash it much ? Not being a butt with that comment just wondering how that new of a truck has that much rust ?

I live in Pittsburgh. Yes we use a lot of salt and a liquid that is even more harsh then the salt alone. I try and wash my truck once a week in the winter. But I have Westin steps that apparently like to collect snow and ice. I wasn't to quick to clean that off the steps in the corners the first year. But the damage had already been done. By the time I realized it. Yeah common sence should have clicked and I should have known better but oh well after this is done I'll have 1600 bux wrapped up in the body work.

Wow! Still, an '09....

I actually had to scroll down to see the pictures of the whole truck before I believed it...

Glad to see you're fixing it though.

Yeah sorry to see that, glad to hear its from the salt on the roads and not really a bad design or anything for the most part.
Looking at getting a new truck soon and was just wondering what might be the cause.
