Truck Washing Pole

Anybody got an opinion of what is the best long-handled mop extension to use to reach the top/middle of the cab? On my last truck, a 4x4 Silverado 1500, all I needed was one of those small kitchen step ladders and I could reach everything, but even at 6' 2" I actually need a 6-foot ladder to get high enough to reach the center of the cab roof of this truck and that's a PITA. Much appreciated.

I use one of those long handled washing poles they sell for RVs. I have a fifth wheel RV, and the long handled scrubber thing works great on the truck too.

Have this and it works great...it was recommended by a local professional detailer. You can purchase different cleaning mitts for it.

Also bought this bed step for getting in the bed. Mounted easily and works well. Just don’t close it by hand - use your foot. Smashed my thumb once when I got forgetful.

I have one of these that folds up and sits behind my swing-away tool box that I can use if necessary.

Werner makes a two step drywall ladder that works well for me. I'm the same height as you. Or was. 6'1" now since gravity shrunk me. This is a wide platform step ladder with steps on the side, not the ends. Looked in a general search and it's model TW-372-30. I don't know how to post pictures so you will have to look it up. Been using it on the Cummins truck for years and thought it might not work on the new but it does. A longish wash mitt allows me to reach the centerline of the windshield and the cab rooftop. These are light but hold up to 300 lbs. Good for our Highlander too.
