Can I swap a 2002 5.9L 46RE in the place of a 2008 3.7L 42RLE?

I bought a 2008 3.7l 42RLE and I found a 2002 5.9L 46RE. I want the 5.9l 46RE in my 2008. I know I need to swap everything attached to the 5.9, ecu trans everything. Would I have to change the wiring harness too?

None of the pre CAN stuff will work with your onboard electronics. It would be easier to swap an 06 or newer hemi in. The old days of easy engine swaps is long gone.
