Transmission fluid and filter recommendation / sanity check - 2012 hemi 6 speed
Hello, I want to change the transmission fluid in my 2012 Ram 1500 with the 6 speed. It has about 52k miles. Can someone please: Recommend a fluid and quantity? Recommend filter? (Metal threads?) What gasket silicone do I use? Would be great to buy this in a store in the US. I'm in NC...- _happy_

Fix loud Bosch Icon wipers ?
Now that I think about it I went through a car wash a couple weeks ago that claimed to spray me down with a Rain-X type of solution. Maybe that's the cause. It's been raining all day and they are a bit better. Once it dries up I'll try to clean the glass. I just bought the 22A for both sides. I...- _happy_

Thanks for all the feedback! I'll try cleaning and the alcohol. They only make the noise at the and of the two strokes. Not in the middle. Today I replaced my old Michelin wipers I got at Walmart about 8 years ago. I installed some new Bosch Icon A22 blades which make a loud SQUEEK at the top and bottom of each stroke. Ok I think I get it now. So I can buy a Mopar lift kit with the Bilstein 5100 height adjustable struts. I can buy this on my own and bring it to the dealer and they will install it. So it's all under warranty. And this is compatible with air suspension, Crew Cab and 6'4" bed? And I should have... -

Thinking about the 2" Mopar level on a yet-to-be-ordered 2022 Longhorn. Decided to play safe with the warranty. I've read several posts that say it's "even better than stock." SOLVED: 2012 1500 Overheating
Update: The water pump, water pump housing and thermostat were changed out. And it's cooling very good again. The garage said there was no coolant in the system :) Maybe I only needed coolant...? But all is good now. Thanks for the help.- _happy_

SOLVED: 2012 1500 Overheating
Thanks. I definitely won't be running it. I'll probably even get it towed to my garage even though it's like a mile away. I really don't mind making all these replacements. SOLVED: 2012 1500 Overheating
Engine coolant light came on today. It's about 80°F outside. Dash says the coolant temp was at 256°. Opened the hood and saw coolant spraying out around where the coolant enters the engine at the thermostat. The reservoir was empty so added plain water.
