Our New Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

If we really needed that 3rd row I’d have to go with a mini van. We had a sienna for a bit and it was awesome, she didn’t like it. I like the option for third row in a mid size suv but it’s just not great. The Highlander we got after the van was the same way as the GCL. The driving experience...

Our New Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

We had the L too and really didn’t need it. If you have that third row up, there is very storage space. I stuffed some bigger copper at3 AT tires on the L that kept the mpg to 19 or so. Looked so much better and worth it.

Our New Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

The GC are so sharp! Nice Ride! I prefer the GC over the looks of the GCL. We just traded our 21 GCL in for a 24 Wrangler *****’s with the Extreme Recon package. The GC was a great rig, my wife and myself wanted something different and we found no need for the 3rd row. So fall the wrangler meets...

    Salt sucks

That sucks man. I would say that you got taken for a ride on that undercoat. You want to stay away from anything that dries and does stay fluid. Moisture and salt get underneath and accelerate rust, especially if you already had a little. You may be able to scrape that crap off and oil it and...

I have a 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman want upgraded seats

Probably a big horn. A longhorn would be leather, probably brown or tan. They would probably fit your tradesman, there is little difference between tradesman and bighorn level 1.

Help with towing. New to owning a dodge

My Dad is pulling that size trailer with same truck just a 22. He’s pulled that trailer all over New Englan with the truck and a 15 Durango RT for a few years before the truck. You have to watch what and how you load it.

3 alignments later truck still pulls left and right when on sloped road

My 2020 2500 has done this since I got it with 650 miles on it. I’m just about to roll 100k now and it still does it. I’ve never noticed any odd tire wear or anything like that. I did just have to replace the drivers side wheel bearing and I wondered if that added to its premature wear in my...

    Hemi Starter Motor

My starter left me stranded at 50k miles on 2 year old truck. I was away for work 4 hours from home. Is what it is. Battery also went dead around that time.

Highest towing capacity for the 5.7

These dealers online don’t even really understand that payload and towing capacity differs between models and various options or why it even matters. They almost never post a pic of the door sticker and same with gearing option. It’s very irritating when searching for a truck. The nice thing...

Startup clatter a week after first oil change...

The last three trucks I’ve had had hemis. 17 5.7 an 18 6.4 and 20 6.4. All three clattered on cold starts on the recommended penzoil. Worse after a short cycle of the engine. Lubeguard worked wonders for the 17 and 18. I’ve had the my current 6.4 on amsoil since the second oil change and it...

    WOW - Rip Off Dealership

You’re right the dealerships will try to upsell everything and tons of people always going along with it. One thing with your truck though is that trans. I’d be changing my fluid and filter on that at 30k religiously. Probably not a flush though. The rest of the stuff can wait. The local...

How much of a drop for my 3500 hitch?

I’ve pulled my Imagine 3000qb thousands of miles on a Reese hitch with 2” shank and a reducer, zero issue. Also a flat deck trailer. You will want like 8” of drop for that truck to have the flexibility towing different things. Personally I wouldn’t worry much about using weight distribution...

    OEM or Aftermarket wheel bearings

I would’ve loved to use timkens. Just none available anywhere. Both my inlaws retired from timken too.

    OEM or Aftermarket wheel bearings

I’ll install them myself so really I’m saving money still. I have had 295/70 cooper at3 on it pretty much the whole time and plan to stick with them. So that could contribute to them wearing a tad faster than I would’ve liked.

    OEM or Aftermarket wheel bearings

The search was tough, all the best deals were of questionable quality and the known good quality aftermarket ones were unavailable. So I ended up picking up 2 OEM bearings for $720.
