I had trouble with my door handles. Where did you buy them? Are they new? I tried moving just the auto unlock handle to my existing door handle trim since the used ones I bought were a different color. There was a small magnet in the trim that also needed to be moved to allow it to sense my...
I have an AAWireless and a Carlinkit 5.0. My MA-1 died after a year around the same time my hub did. Not sure if the two are related. All three devices worked well. The AAWireless has an app on android and can be set to not try connecting Android Auto until your phone connects to the vehicle...
That said it sounds like some of the 2022 classics had a uconnect 5 radio which I'm not as sure about. Personally I would be careful with 2022 as it may have a Uconnect 5 radio that my not be plug and play with previous Rams.
2018 through 2022 should work as long as the newer ones are a 4th gen (classic) and not a 5th gen. Here is the adapter I designed to hold the USB-C hub in the center console. I basically cut straight across from the square hole to the round on top and bottom and this adapter slid in to hold it...
I upgraded the radio in my 2016 eco diesel to gain Android Auto. The fact that it is a diesel doesn't have any impact on the radio upgrade. What you need depends on your current equipment.
Which radio do you have?
What climate control?
I have a US truck that had the 8.4" non-nav with the...
Are you talking about connecting to wireless Android Auto or wired? There is a way to turn off wireless Android Auto on your phone so that it would only start up if you plugged it into USB. It used to be simple but for some reason they've moved the setting to developer settings. You can still...
I don't know about the newer trucks but my 2016 keeps the USB ports powered even when the key and radio are off. I did this and now it works just like I want it to with my Motorola MA1
USB Keyed Power
This is the one I made and use in my truck. I tried to make it friction fit but with rough roads and temps changing sizes slightly I needed to add a bit of glue.

I'll give that a try and report back. Doesn't concern me too much as now I use the left side when I want to charge and keep my Motorola MA1 plugged into the left. Just wish the truck was smart enough to turn off the power to usb when the truck is shut off.
The part number was P68397098AD but like Mpgrimm2 says some people have had issues with them. Android Auto works great but only from the right side ports. Left side seem to be charge only. Haven't done anything to try and change that or investigate it. I can't remember if I tried my wife's...
I would check car-part.com for a push start button. There seems to be a number of them available there. I know a used RF hub will not work but a used start button should work.
I don't recall if my 1500 with the Alpine system needed the additional time to get audio or not when I swapped in a UAS. It's been a while since I did the swap. Personally I would try not to make any conclusions on functionality until the truck config has been read by the new radio.
