Yeah I towed that same TT with my 2013 1500 with 3.55s. TT was brand new and empty so probably 500-1000lbs lighter and I got 6.5 MPG compared to the 8.5 I got with my 2500 6.4. Me and my son had identical trucks. I towed the TT once with my truck then he towed it a bunch with his. But point is...- dhay13

The other thing I can add is to check fuel prices where you will be traveling. I heard a few on here saying diesel was cheaper where they are. At one point around here diesel was over $1 more per gallon. According to gasbuddy today 4.49 while regular is 3.68 so not a huge spread at todays prices.- dhay13

Can't argue the gas vs diesel thing as I don't have enough experience with diesels but my son (and me) had/have 2018 2500's with 6.4's and 4.10's. He towed an 8100lb TT and average 8.5 MPG over 9500 miles towing all over the country. He then bought a 2021 2500 Cummins and towing the same trailer...- dhay13

I towed a 2020 Grand Design Imagine 3250BH with my 2018 2500 6.4 with 4.10's. Trailer was empty as it was brand new off the lot but I was good on all numbers. CAT scale showed 1100lbs tongue weight when at about 12.5% TW. My payload is 2973lbs so had plenty of room. TT weighed 9300lbs empty...- dhay13

Yeah it was around 2013 when Stefano called me. He called my home phone and it came up Nickey Chicago. At the time it didn't register in my head that it was Nickey Chevrolet until I called him back and he told me. But for sure it was either 2012, 2013 or possibly 2014 but pretty sure it was 2013...- dhay13

Tow Mirror swap
Look at the bottom front edge of the drivers mirror. Should see a little 'hole' there. Others should be chiming in soon with more knowledge then me on the 2020 trucks but I do know the 2012 and older won't work on 2013 to at least 2018. Dunno if theses have all the options you need but these are... -

I can tell you the '09--12's won't work unless they have moved the ambient temp sensors to the mirrors. Or are the 2020's no longer in the mirror? 2012 and older had the ambient temp sensor in the grill but when they introduced the active grill shutters they moved the temp sensor to the mirror... -
