As I was getting ready to leave the house one day I sat at the bottom of the stairs to put my shoes on and as soon as I brought my leg up the Panic Alarm went off. Help! What would you do next? Hemi misfire and low power
With that many miles and a fluttering whistle sound...and an exhaust leak...it could be a clogged catalytic converter. Also, 3 and 5 are on the same bank. 3k miles since lifter cam job

To add, if the component in question uses electrons, I would strongly recommend avoiding aftermarket parts. A puff of smoke on startup, after car wash
My son-laws F150 would do this sometime, especially after a rain storm. If I remember correctly it was an intercooler issue. My pretty bad 2018 RAM 1500 Hemi experience, help/advice needed on what to do next
I think there may be something else going on. On a full engine replacement it's required that the service technician submit the list of diagnostics (like a leak-down test) used and those that indicated a major issue requiring an entire new engine on a repair order. I sourced the 2013 ATRA book which lists the A518 in use for trucks in 1986, but I've found mistakes in the ATRA book before. I misread the year (1986, not 1976). A 1986 W250 used the A518/46RH which is a A727 Loadflite with the overdrive unit making it a four speed. Sorry for the confusion.
