No. The more I drove the truck the less I seemed to notice it. I attributed it to a power steering system that simply didn't work like I expected it to, but all it took was getting used to it. I don't notice it anymore.
Not bad. Adjusted for inflation, that's about the same price I paid new for my 1996 Laramie SLT 4WD with the 360 out the door. Of course, mine ain't nearly as luxurious and has cloth bench, an AM/FM single CD, cruise control and alloy wheels. LOL!
I'd get them powdercoated. You can clean them all you want, but without a coating, the bare aluminum will look dingy all the time.
You'll probably need to machine a groove on the inside to hold the center cap on place. 74mm is pretty common...
