This is my thought as well. However doesn't explain why this doesn't happen when I use the other oils like Redline and Liquimoly. If it happened the first time I used Mobil 1 FS 0W40, then I'd would agree. But this happened on all 3 times that I used it. Its only for 2 -3 seconds on the initial start. Well, each time I have done the oil change, I drive it to the mechanic's shop, he changes the oil while I wait and then I drive back. All 3 times with the Mobil, it ticked. Whereas with Liquimoly Molygen and Redline, it didn't. I wonder if it was the 0w40 because that was the only 0w40 I've...- knightjp

I would not say it, if I had not heard it myself. My mechanic wasn't worried about it though. He said it was normal and to be expected. I used Mobil 1 FS 0w40, 3 times and all 3 times, it ticked for 2 seconds on initial startup. This is interesting. Probably should be the mandatory initial...- knightjp

I'm not sure. The engine ticks for 2 - 3 seconds on the initial start up right after the oil change. We put in good oil into the new filter when putting it in. The moly in the Castrol Edge report is quite high compared to ****** samples that were tested on BITOG. Any additives were used? The report makes mention of MoS2.- knightjp

I've used it as an engine oil flush. Did this just before I put in the Liquimoly Molygen. Seemed to work. Nothing bad happened. Some people have negative things to say about Seafoam being used in modern engines.- knightjp

Listening to the sound on the videos, it just sounded like you had a noisy engine, rather than the dreaded "Hemi tick". I ought to know, having faced it 3 times myself.
