    Might want to consider the Andersen WDH. I tow a 31' travel trailer with one. It's quiet, very easy to set up, quick to hook up and remove, great sway control. I've also seen good things about the new Eaz-Lift TR3.

    Was happening to my truck. I got a fake bobble head owl at tractor supply and put it on the tonneau cover. Problem solved. Just move the owl to a different spot every day. Those birds won't come near that owl.

    Why buy a 2500 and not expect a stiffer ride? It's stiff for a reason, payload. You can mellow it out by dropping tire pressure to 45-50 PSI at all 4 corners. That'll take some of the harshness away. Just air back up when towing/hauling. If you're not towing or hauling heavy maybe get a 1500.

    If you plan on off-roading in anything I highly suggest shopping for a dealer that is friendly to it. Some dealer service centers look past mods and trail rash to take care of warranty items, while others will flag your vehicle in the system.
