It is likely resonance from the 2 piece driveshaft due to the angle. My first inclination would be to bolster the truck's height back to the level of the unloaded truck while loaded with the boat.
That's sans using a vibration analyzer to accurately pinpoint the problem.

If you guys have O'Reilly auto parts out there, you might check into a Power Torque reman engine. I've installed 2 of them over the past 5 years... and nary a problem. AND, their price was unbeatable with a 4 year unlimited mileage warranty.
If you do not have that chain out there, you...
I love this thread!!! :) The blaming of the equipment as opposed to the transmitting dynamics reminds me of blaming the fire truck at the fire FOR the fire! I've gotta go! My popcorn is ready!!!!!
Your scenario is one of many I'm privvy to knowledge of all over the place. Many of my customers are keeping older trucks/SUV's, cars and choosing to fix them instead of becoming both saddled with payments on a new car AND possibly enduring the combination of having it down WHILE paying on it...
I do not know about FCA/Stelanis, but GM or FORD would usually balk at any outside source for replacement parts, due to brand purity, DNA, etc.
The only exception I've ever seen was in the mid- 90's when the Truck small block v-8's couldn't keep a non-leaky water pump and the fuel pumps failed...
Texas is a different state from the get go. We are the only state in the US who joined the union by treaty, bot being annexed by decree.
We are one of only 2 states in the US with homestead protection laws so strong in the protection of the homeowner.
There is no state income tax, and so many...

We just lost one of our...
Although it doesn't apply to your RAM, oil coating on those filters DOES contaminate the MAF (mass air flow) sensor on vehicles that have them and coke up the throttle body. I've simply seen too many problems through the years; especially since it is so easy to drop in a good quality pleated...
I'd ceramic coat the headers. I have experience with ceramic on both exhaust manifolds and headers.
I use Polymer Dynamics here in Houston.
Carl Benton is the fella's name that owns and operates the place and he's been there for decades.

Well, gee! Back in the 50's and further on back, cars and trucks had oil bath air filters. Those were filth magnets. The advent of pleated air filters lent a longer service life not only for the filter, but made the engine last FAR longer.
The oil treated filters were at one time made from a...
Ahhh! The "good old days" come to mind! ;)
I was working WAY long ago at a Ford dealer (nigh on to 50 years). I drove a 1964.5 Mustang with the 260 V-8, and a generator.
Some mouth breather relieved me of my new battery one day. Because the car had a 4-speed manual and a generator with residual...
