    FOB and Key Issue

When fishing and buddies forget something, I have them leave the fob inside the gas door. If you’re not comfortable with that, tell the transport guy to take the key back to the office and you’ll pick it up after.

Thanks for picking up the box @pajeepman or should I say Bro. ;). I hope you enjoy it.

No Subs, just the enclosure. 3rd & 4th Gen Ram MTX Thunderform Sub Enclosure Accepts 10" subs. Form fitted to 3rd and 4th gen rams, quad or crew cab. This is from 2 vehicles ago ;) and I still have it sitting around. Rather than throw it out, I'd rather see someone get some use out of it...

Common issues with the 5th Gen

I went with my inner old man, LOL. Got a Limited 4WD with every gadget. I did however protect my interest. I was not sure if I would miss a full size (so far no) so I leased it for 2 years and took the equity from my old truck and banked it. If after 2 years I feel I made a mistake, I’ll be...

Common issues with the 5th Gen

Thanks for asking. A couple of shots the day after I picked it up.

Common issues with the 5th Gen

I did not have all of them but I did have many of them. Fortunately I didn’t have the AC Vent whine or leaks. And yes, I’ve moved on. I went back to a mid-size truck in a Tacoma. Before family requirements, I had a couple and always enjoyed them. Now that my family is older and my truck...

Common issues with the 5th Gen

You’ll find out that many 4th gen issues have carried over to the 5th gen. Hemi tick, broken header bolts, AC Vent whine, leaking 3rd brake light, backup camera periodically working, audio cutting out, rear hollow sounding doors, I’m sure I’ve missed a few. They have introduced a few new ones...

    BFG a/t ko2 questions ?

It’s really going to be a your mileage may vary type thing there. I run these tires in 275/65/20 and have found 46 to be my preferred feel and wear. Google chalking tires for proper pressure. You’ll learn where to set them.

    Financing question

I agree with TMeyers, if you have a local Credit Union. Try them first. Dealers get kickbacks from banks they work with which is why they want your info. They’ll send it out to a few or even more to get the best rate BUT! your credit can go down by them just doing that so be careful and ask...

To trade-in or not to trade-in?

If you’re just bored and want a new vehicle, I’d say go with it if it’s in your financial ability. This is pretty much the exact scenario that made me make the jump a year and a half ago. Fast forward to today, it’s still a Ram, it still has quirks from the prior generation like the vents, hemi...

Getting excited - "What should I offer"?

I always shoot for 20% on new models. If it were a 19, I’d say go 25%. For me, I’d be very happy if they made the sale price 50k.m on that 20. Anything more than $51.5, I’d walk.

    2017 F-150 Lariat 5.0 to 19 Rebel?

Had 2 consecutive F150s before I bought my 14 Ram. I liked the Ram so much that I bought the 19. Couldn’t see myself ever going back to Ford before buying another Ram. I can’t knock the Ford, great trucks but the ride and style of the Ram is light years ahead of the F150 now.

Are you using your Ram properly?

I went to a farm festival last week and the winning pumpkin was just shy of 1500 lbs. Amazing!

What are people getting as a percentage off MSRP?

21.2% if you want to be exact. ;) At the time there was a $4500 rebate on my model, that $4500 is included in that percent I listed.

    Brakes /caliper squeaking

Yep, I’ve done the same in-between service visits. Clean and grease up the pins and clip contact points. Keeps it quiet a bit.
