70k miles on OEM seal and leaking. Is this common on Gen 4?

Not as far as I know. Is it seal or does the input shaft have a little groove worn in it?
Also check your t case vent, you'll blow seals if it's plugged off.
Vent seems to be in order. No grooves that I'm able to discern. It's just starting to leak. I *hate* fluid leaks so I'm going to be babysitting this one and see if it starts to progress.

It's leaking on my 13, haven't looked into it any further. Hasn't got too bad yet.

Mine went bad and had to replace it. Was rotted and falling apart. Like jerry said, 20min easy fix.

thats a rather stupid idea to babysit it when you just put a new one in 20min. or less
It's not leaving fluid on the ground, nor on the undercarriage, so I'll continue to monitor it. When it degrades enough to be an issue, I'll address it then. Thanks for your commentary.
