2018 8.4 radio demons

Just got this truck a little over a year ago and these bubbles slowly started progressing over the sides these last few months, today the radio went completely crazy with random presses rendering it unusable.
Any idea what can be done to fix this or an I stuck buying a new radio from the dealer as my warranty doesn’t cover it

The original version SL01 Digitizer is delaminating from the screen b/c of improperly cured adhesive between the 2 leaking out the bottom.

Get a new (LA084X01 SL03) Screen/Digitizer assembly (definitely not an SL01 version… SL02 maybe for about $150) ~ $250 -$300 and replace it yourself…. Or send it off to United Radio (Peachtree GA) or NavRepair (FL)

Yes I've done it. Get the full digitizer/with screen assembly vs just the digitizer.

It's doable on your own but you should watch the videos/see the links and get a sense of what's required to decide on your own based on your abilities. (I have 25+ yrs of electronics experience and still got some guidance from sitkneelbend).

Im not tech guy by any means, but I had the same problem about two months ago and replaced the screen myself. I watched a couple of youtube videos and it took me all of 30 minutes.
