I am about to pull the trigger on the commuter system with new radius arms also.

Anyone have a Carli system? I want to improve the ride more than anything, remove a lot of the bouncyness of the rear.

Also, what is the average rate for a shop to do this? The shop quoted me 12 hours at 185 an hour. Wasn’t sure if that was the norm for more off road shop.

Any input is appreciated

That kit is pretty sweet but with the base kit, radius arms, and the labor you are getting up around $8,000! Probably just because I'm cheap but can't imagine paying that much just for rear being a little bouncy on the road.
For the labor time, I would suspect that to be a little on the heavy side for a shop with a hoist, power tools, and experience doing that type of work. But don't necessarily think it's completely outrageous for a shop either (just glad I do my own work). They would must rather over-quote the time versus the other way around.

I went with Bilstein 5160 shocks, Thuren front and rear track bars. Local shop provided all the parts and labor for under $4000. Suspension Lifts .com has all four shocks on sale for $1079 right now. I think the rear Thuren track bar did as much as anything to remove some of the rear bounce and waggle from the rear end.

To added a few more comments. I have a 2016 PW with the 1.5" Thuren front springs, stock rear springs with a 1" spacer, and the Thuren Fox 2.0 shocks. Tires are 37x13.50R17 Ridge Grapplers at 40 psi front and 35 psi rear.
The factory rear PW springs are a lot softer and ride better than a standard 2500 truck. I did notice a difference when installing the Fox 2.0 rear shocks (I installed the front springs and shocks and drove it for a year or so, then bought the rear shocks, and already had the tires installed........so the rear shocks were installed by themselves).
- I would verify what pressure you are running the rear tires
- I've only had the stock and Thuren Fox 2.0 rear shocks, but the Fox rears feel better
- You can buy an even softer rate rear coil for these trucks, but will have a pretty low load capacity (if that is important)

Again, I'm cheap....and not trying to rep Thuren parts as Carli probably has something similar. But for $1,000 in parts you could buy the soft rate rear coils and pair of Fox shocks. I would surely hope a decent shop could install those parts in a couple hours. That should get you as good as it gets for ride quality on the rear suspension.
