So I had the check engine light and gascap code come up on my 2006 ram 1500 4.7 V8. I recently had the fuel pump replaced and it was fine for a few days after, then randomly it pops up. I changed the gas cap and also the Evap leak module. I shut the CE light off but it is still reading "GASCAP" on my odometer. What's next? Check all vapor lines for a leak? Of not then bring back to mechanic? And does this trucks EVAP system run off of a vacuum or off of pressure?

Appreciate the help! Thank you!!

Did you ever figure this one out? I'm having the same problem. My OBD reader suggested replacing vapor canister purge solenoid or its valve assembly if replacing fuel tank cap doesn't work.
