I first decided that I wanted to lower the rear about 2" to level it. I didn't want to take too much off so I started by cutting 1.5 coils(Top pic). Then I drove it about a week and decided it needed to come down more so i cut another 0.5 coil off for a total of 2.0 coils(2nd pic). It still didn't look right to me and I was looking through Craigslist and saw a belltech 2/4 kit with shocks. I put the 2/4 belltech kit on it (3rd pic). After the 2/4 was installed it still didn't look right. I then cut 1.0 coil off the rear belltech springs.(4th pic) Now it looks just right to me. I'm not done with the suspension though. I will probably get control arm relocation brackets, hellwig sway bar, and new air spring helper bags. The ones I got have holes. I thought these pics might help someone to see several ride heights when trying to make a decision about lowering.

I got no wobble up to 90mph (in Mexico). Haven't gone any faster than that. I got kind of a mix matched belltech kit. I got it used with street performer shocks for $300. The guy said he had it on his truck for 6 months and decided to go lower. It did not come with front bump stops. I bought some universal bump stops for $36. The kit came with new IHC sway bar links that seem to be the right length. I have the street performers installed in the front and still have stock shocks in the rear. I may put QA1 shocks in the rear, and get the relocation brackets. I cut one coil off the rear springs because it wasn't level after installing the belltech kit. I don't know if there is a different belltech kit for regular cab than for quad cab, but the guy I got the kit from has a regular cab.
