    If you replaced your front door speakers you will get this noise. I just went though this with mine. Put the stock speakers back in the front doors and the droning will go away. The other option is to disable the ANC with a bypass cable as mentioned above.

    Correct. Sirius XM makes most of their money by advertising talk shows, sports, and news. Don't need premium sound quality for that. Music is secondary. I do find it odd that not only does XM sound worse than regular FM radio, but it also sounds like my rear speakers don't exist.

    The ANC uses the front speakers. Replacing the front door speakers throws the whole ANC system off. Makes a loud, deep droning sound in low gears. Put the original stock speakers back in and the ANC works perfectly again.

    Interesting. There could be something wrong with the head unit if carplay apps sound bad. But no matter what, replacing the whole headunit probably won't make XM sound as good as streaming. Replacing the stock speakers makes a huge difference overall. I'd start there.

    I also noticed today that my basic FM radio sounds a lot better than XM radio. It sounded clear, full, and a lot of bass. I don't think the issue is the stereo or the speakers. It's something with Sirius XM.

    Ram is not going to replace the speakers. If they did, they would only put new stock speakers in. If it really bugs you maybe take it to a stereo place and have the whole thing upgraded. Have you tried the XM app instead of the radio channels? I've never tried the app to see if it's any better.

    After a second look, my vote would be painting the crosshairs black, then blacking out everything else....wheels, running boards, emblems.... Don't think I've ever seen an orange Ram murdered out. Plus, the crosshairs is just a better grille. That would probably look sweet!
