    or me I’m the exact opppsite I have 700 idle hours, <15% of total, and I had to replace the cam. everything I’ve seen in my mildly educated opinion has pointed to metallurgy not lubrication.

    MDS deleted now slight misfire

    spark plug / coil pack would be my first check. Try moving the cyl 8 coil pack to another cylinder see if miss follows. If not, then try replacing plugs (unless they're new), which of course could then be counterfit plug issue.

    Yeah won’t be that due to it being a non MDs cylinder anyway. You can test moving the injector to a new cylinder and see if the misfire follows.

    Since it’s an 09 what oil are you using? The earlier rams could get MDS issues with wrong viscosity. Doubtful but something to check Edit - actually cyl 5 is a non MDS cylinder.

    I did see that and still believe it has to do with the cam… and the plastic yokes. If I swap out my MDS lifters, I’ll definitely be getting billet yokes.
