    I used Rotella T-6 in my old 2006 5.9 CTD and based on using it for over 10 years in that engine, my self I would change the oil out every 12 months or 7500 miles which ever comes first unless you have UOA that tells you otherwise.

    As far as the $8700 HPFP problem it's FORD who failed to do what Ram on its trucks with the CP-4, Ram recalled & replaced the crappy CP-4 HPFP that Ford ( last I heard still uses) even though they know it has problems, instead of doing the right thing they passed the cost on to the truck owner

    You have an intake grid heater that you wait to come on when air temp is IIRC around 65 degrees, it heats the incoming air to aid starting... Also the grid heater its not above cylinder #6... What I think your talking about is a bolt used on the grid heater that can sometimes fail do to a faulty...

    How about if your worried about the bolt why not save your self $1000 and just unhook the grid heater from the power supply at the battery?
